Glynn Black

I currently reside in rural Southeast Georgia, USA.

I have been involved with photography on and off as an avocation since the early seventies. Except for a small amount of time and training as a photographer in the Naval Reserves, I am largely self-taught. Around 1999 I finally gave up traditional film photography purchased my first digital camera and the computer has become my darkroom. More recently artistic pastimes have become part of a coping mechanism for me dealing with a chronic illness.

Lately I find myself returning to the point I started with photography that being black and white or monochrome images. I have only been exploring digital painting for a short period of time so I am still seeking direction and hopefully my skills as a painter will improve over time.
